A Totally Awesome Conversation Dude!

A grandmother is speaking to her daughter and her teenage grandson after finding out he is going on a group date with the most popular girl in school.
Grandma-  “Well that’s boss!”
Mother-  “Mom, it’s not cool to say boss anymore. You’re supposed to say it’s epic.”
Grandma-  “I’m just trying to tell him that dating this girl is the bee’s knees.”
Mother-  “Well, you sounded like a dork. You’re like so old school.”
Grandma-  “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with telling him he’s groovy.”
Mother-  “O.M.G. mom, you are totally cheesy. Don’t you know how to talk to kids these days? I hope I never get to be a ole fogey like you!”
Grandmother-  “Oh, I am sure he thinks you’re pretty square nowadays too.”
Mother-  “What do you think son, are we still the bom-diggity after all these years?”
Grandmother-  “Yeah are we still the cat’s pajama’s?”
Just then the grandson’s ride pulls up out front. He rolls his eyes, smiles, kisses both women on the cheek and yells on his way out the door, “Cabs are Heeere!”

I think you didn’t use a couple of all the idioms out there, but only a couple. hehe. This was a lot of fun. Great job.
